History of a Fruit and Vegetable carving



Fruit and Vegetable Craving is a traditional artistic skill of food preparation for a royal family. 

The historical evidence displays that the art of Fruit and Vegetable Craving was first witnessed in the major festival, Loi Krathong during Sukhothai Era. 

Krathong, floating lamp, was created by Naang Noppamas using flowers to replicate a beautiful garden and craved fruits and vegetables to create animals in the garden.

The decoration was impressed by King Phra Ruang. As a result, this skill became the curriculum for palace women and was considered as an advance skill
